This memorial scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Zackery Tyler Jones who tragically lost his life to suicide on the night of his high school graduation. This scholarship seeks to honor his memory by supporting students who have faced similar personal challenges, and/or are committed to mental health advocacy. It aims to provide educational opportunities to those who have shown resilience, compassion, and dedication to helping others through their own experiences of aspirations. By awarding this scholarship, we hope to continue Zackery’s legacy of strength and hope, promoting awareness and support for mental health among the student community.
This scholarship is applicable for any accredited college or towards a trade certification.
As of 2019, only 45% of our graduates were entering college, and of those that did, 20% dropped out in their first semester.
